Pulled with a fierce shook
Out of the spiral notebook
Tore the fringes off your side
Unworthiness implied
Writing on you so hard
Their hurtful imprint words
Seen now: wooden table top
Frustrations on you: won’t stop
Now on their anger spree
Erasing words fiercely
Off your paper: words won’t do
Now there is a hole on you
Frustrations madly grew
They are now done with you
Crumbling you up in a wound
Tossing you on the ground
Along comes the litter cleaner
He jabs you: crumbled up paper
Ouch, as the poker grabs you there
He puts you with the other litter
Here we are with the other crumbled paper
Do people see us with our rips and tears?
We still have value and hope we silently scream
Tossed aside crumpled up piece of paper dream
They thought we were gone
Their thought of us: wrong
Crumbled up papers do survive
We unfold, get back up: alive
